Apps and custom builds

Software we build, run, and hand over.

We build custom Shopify apps, web apps and integrations from Islamabad, and we run two products of our own: Tarly, the portal our team and other remote teams work in, and Brassdeck, a project board Claude can update. Anything we build for you is yours, code and hosting included.

What we build for you

Four kinds of build, all of them yours to keep.

  1. Custom Shopify apps

Apps for the workflow no app on the store covers, or for the one you pay a monthly fee to use a tenth of. Built on Shopify’s own APIs, installed on your store only, and the repository is yours.

  2. Web apps and dashboards

Dashboards, member portals and headless storefronts that sit beside your store and read from it, built as ordinary web apps you can host anywhere.

    ReactNext.jsNodePython

  3. Integrations

Two-way sync between Shopify and your ERP, 3PL, CRM or warehouse, in real time or on a schedule, so stock, orders and customers agree everywhere.

    WebhooksRESTGraphQL

  4. Apps with AI inside

Custom apps where an AI step does the judgement work: product matching, demand forecasting, support triage or content in more than one language.

Two ways in

Have one built, or use one of ours.

Built and handed over

You own the code, the repository and the hosting account. Nothing is licensed back to you, so you can host it anywhere and hire anyone to change it.

Quoted per project after a 30-minute call.

Use one of ours

Tarly is open to other teams. Try the demo workspace for an hour, then ask for access; Brassdeck is free to start at brassdeck.com.

Tarly access by request.

Tarly

How we build

Quoted in writing, then built where you can see it.

  1. Day 0

    A 30-minute call

What the app has to do, what it connects to, and whether an existing app already does it for less.

  2. Then

    A written quote

Scope, stack and timeline in writing, so you know what you are paying for before anything is built.

  3. Build

    Stages you can see

A working version early, on a development store, then the rest in pieces you can test.

  4. Live

    Handed over

Installed, documented and moved into your accounts, with the repository in your name.

Questions

Before you book.

Do I own the app you build?

Yes. The code, the repository and the hosting account are yours. Nothing is licensed back to you, so you can host it anywhere and have anyone work on it later.

How much does a custom Shopify app cost?

Each build is quoted after a 30-minute call, because a small private app and a two-way ERP sync are very different jobs. You get the scope and timeline in writing with the quote.

Should I build an app or use one from the App Store?

If an existing app does the job at a fair price, use it, and we will say so on the call. A custom build makes sense when nothing fits the workflow, or when you pay every month for an app you use a small part of.

Can I try Tarly first?

Yes. The demo at tarly.scalewiseva.com/portal/demo opens a workspace filled with sample data for one hour, no sign-up. Access for your own team is by request.

What is Brassdeck?

A project board we built for people running many projects at once. Claude can read and update it through its own connector. It is free to start at brassdeck.com.

Tell us what the app has to do.

A 30-minute call: what it does, what it connects to, whether an existing app already covers it, and a written quote after.
