At 18, I joined my brother's recruitment agency, Simba Recruits, and got my first real taste of what it meant to build operations from scratch. Watching a business take shape through processes, people, and relentless iteration changed how I saw everything. It wasn't glamorous. It was infrastructure.
That experience planted something: a conviction that every function of a business, no matter how small, deserves a documented standard. Not a vague checklist. A real system. One that works without you watching it.
In 2025, I founded ScaleWise VA with zero clients and one clear framework borrowed from German engineering philosophy: precision, repeatability, and accountability at every layer. No guesswork. No dependency on one person.
While finishing a degree in Business Analytics and working toward my PMI certification, I built a team of Specialists spanning the US, UK, Germany, Ireland, and Australia. Each person is a domain expert in their function. None of them are generalists.
Today we're an AI-first Shopify operations agency. We run stores, build automations, manage advertising, and develop the AI tooling that keeps our clients ahead. We're also building SWAPIT, our own proprietary platform that will automate the most labor-intensive parts of Shopify operations entirely.
For our own team, we built Tarly: an internal VA management platform that handles time tracking, task assignment, and operational reporting across our Specialists. Tarly is used by our team only. It is not deployed against client teams or installed on client systems. We mention it because we believe in dogfooding the same operational discipline we sell.
