01 Catalogue and Inventory
Every product has a primary image at 2048px on the longest edge
Every product has at least 3 lifestyle or alt-angle images
Every variant has its own assigned image (no defaulting to the parent shot)
Inventory is tracked in Shopify (not in a separate spreadsheet drifting from reality)
Low-stock alerts are configured at the SKU level, not the product level
Out-of-stock products are hidden, not just unbuyable
Bundles and kits use a real bundle app (not a manual inventory reduction script)
02 Product Page Quality
Titles follow a single template (Brand · Product · Variant or similar)
Descriptions cover what it is, who it is for, materials, sizing, care, and shipping
Size or fit guide is present on every applicable category
Reviews app is installed and showing on PDP and collection cards
Schema markup (Product + Offer + AggregateRating) is emitted correctly
FAQ block answers the top 3 customer questions for that category
Sticky add-to-cart works on mobile
03 Cart and Checkout
Free shipping threshold is shown in the cart with a progress bar
Discount codes are visible (not buried two clicks deep)
Shop Pay is enabled and tested on mobile
Express checkout buttons (Apple Pay, Google Pay) appear above the fold on cart
Post-purchase upsell or thank-you-page offer is configured
Shipping rates are simulated and verified for every supported country
VAT or tax-inclusive pricing is correct per market
04 Customer Support
Helpdesk (Gorgias, Re:amaze, Tidio) is connected to Shopify with order context
Auto-reply on order confirmation matches your brand voice
Macros exist for the top 10 ticket categories
SLA target (first response under 4 hours) is monitored, not just stated
Returns portal is set up and the policy is linked in the footer
CSAT or NPS is collected after a resolved ticket
05 Email and SMS
Klaviyo is connected to Shopify with all key events syncing
Welcome flow is live with a clear offer in email 1
Abandoned checkout flow has at least 3 emails over 72 hours
Browse abandonment flow is configured for product pages
Post-purchase flow exists and asks for a review at the right time
Sunset flow exists so unengaged subscribers do not drag deliverability down
Sender domain has SPF, DKIM and DMARC published and aligned
06 Analytics and Tracking
GA4 is installed via the Shopify integration (not a generic snippet)
Meta CAPI is live and matching browser events
TikTok or Pinterest pixels are firing if those channels are in use
Server-side tracking is in place for at least purchase events
Microsoft Clarity (free) is recording sessions for CRO insight
UTM convention is documented and used consistently across paid traffic
07 Store Health and Performance
Lighthouse mobile score is above 60 (anything lower is leaking revenue)
No render-blocking apps in the theme's critical path
Largest image on the homepage is below 300KB
No broken links across the top 20 internal pages
Theme is on the current Shopify OS 2.0 architecture
App count is reviewed quarterly (every unused app is removed)
